Our objective is to host a meeting on topics of current interests relating to all aspects of Measurements and Quantitative Methods and Management in Forestry and other disciplines. The South has a very rich and dynamic forestry and lots of studies and knowledge to share. Annual meetings provide a great environment for such exchanges and opportunities for relaxing as well as a productive atmosphere for joint work.
Authors are invited to present papers on their recent and older unpublished works on all aspects of Forest Measurements and Quantitative Methods and Management.

Authors interested in presenting their works should submit the title and abstract of no more than 200 words no later then April 15, 2004. Please provide keywords. Abstract should be submitted when registering for conference. The deadline for the full paper submission will be in October. Participants will receive a notice with an exact date after the conference.
Submission for publication is optional. Manuscripts of submitted papers will be published as non-peer-reviewed proceedings. A selected number of papers will be reviewed for publication in a special section/issue of a peer-reviewed journal. The journal will be decided during the conference.
Early registration fee (due by April 15, 2004) is $250 ($125 for full-time students). Regular fee is $280 ($145 for students). Deadline for withdrawal: Cancellations received until April 15 will be granted full refund. No refunds will be possible after this deadline. The substitution of a new participant may be made at any time. See registration page for more details.

Lake Hamilton Resort is located on Lake Hamilton in scenic and historic Hot Springs, Arkansas. The resort includes an indoor atrium pool, hot tub and sauna, heated outdoor pool, lighted tennis court, private sandy beach and lakeside gazebo with barbecue grill.
