Objectives

Our objective is to host a meeting on topics of current interests relating to all aspects of Measurements and Quantitative Methods and Management in Forestry and other disciplines. The South has a very rich and dynamic forestry and lots of studies and knowledge to share. Annual meetings provide a great environment for such exchanges and opportunities for relaxing as well as a productive atmosphere for joint work.

Abstracts of presentations are available on this site and the Proceedings are in print. A number of manuscripts is under peer review for special section of Forest Science or for a special issue of the Journal of Mathematical Modeling and Scientific Computing. The special issue of this journal will be called MATHEMATICAL AND COMPUTER METHODS IN THE MANAGEMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES - SPECIAL ISSUE ON MEASUREMENTS AND QUANTITATIVE METHODS AND MANAGEMENT, published under the Environment and Ecology series in the section entitled Mathematics and Computer Science in Natural Resources Management.
